Tornado was a volunteer company of the Special Police Patrol Service within the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, created in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast in October 2014 on the basis of previously disbanded Shakhtarsk Battalion.
In 2015, the company was deployed to Luhansk Oblast, but was shortly after accused of illegal activities such as looting, humiliating and kidnapping. On March 2015, the military prosecutor office opened criminal case against the company and some members were arrested, including the company commander.
On June 18, 2015, the unit was disbanded. Soldiers, who passed special checks, became part of 4th Company Tornado of the just expanded Myrotvorets Regiment.
