Dark Angels Team

Dark Angels were an international unit, presumably working with Territorial Defense Forces at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. The leader was Daniel Burke, an ex-British paratrooper who had travelled to Syria in 2017 to fight the Islamic State.

The unit was known to be composed of British, French, and American volunteers from all sorts of backgrounds, such as convicts, ex-soldiers, or inexperienced civilians who came to train as medics.

The Dark Angels were known to have fought in the battles in southern Ukraine at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, fighting in the direction of Mykolaiv and Kherson.

Since then the unit has been presumed to have become defunct, leaving for other units – possibly the International Legion, Territorial Defense Forces, or to continue humanitarian efforts.
