Operation Task Force North

Full name: Operation Task Force “North”

About Unit

Operation Task Force North is a temporary administrative command body of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.

It was established in 2025 in order to undertake the frontline responsibilities of Operational Command North. It is tasked with defending the north-eastern regions of Ukraine.

Currently, it only groups a single Army Corps, being the 12th Army Corps, garrisoned in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv.

Insignia

The insignia represents a chevron with a light green background and a stylized shade of yellow as its border. At its core, the imagery represents a crossed saber and sceptre, to symbolize it being a command body, with a pastel grey Cossack cross below. At the peak of the chevron, it contains a stylized Tryzub symbol used by the Operational Command North
