About Unit

The 2nd Motorized Battalion was a unit of the Ukranian Ground Forces, formed in June 2014 as the 2nd Battalion of Territorial Defense Horyny with residents from Rivne, that in October 2014 was reorganized as the motorized battalion under the command of 30th Mechanized Brigade.

Such reorganization went against the weill of the servicemen of the battalion, which very likely ceased to exist as a separate entity many years ago, because since 2022, there is no more information about the unit.
