7th Reconnaissance Battalion is a unit of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
It was formed on February 28, 2022, as the 7th Rifle Battalion. Just a month and a half after its formation, the battalion was deployed to Kharkiv Oblast, and in April 2023, the battalion took up positions in the Lyman direction.
In February 2025, the battalion was redeployed to the Orikhiv front, where it was assigned to the 65th Mechanized Brigade.
In August 2025, a reconnaissance battalion was formed on its basis.
