409th Rifle Battalion

409th Separate Rifle Battalion is an infantry battalion of Ukrainian Ground Forces, formed in 2023 in Mykolaiv.Since its formation, the battalion has carried out assigned combat missions in various key areas, including both the right and left banks of the Dnipro River in Kherson Oblast, near Avdiivka, and along Ukraine’s northern border.In April 2025, the battalion was reformed into a linear motorized battalion of the 22nd Mechanized Brigade and ceased to exist as a separate unit.
