21st Motorized Battalion was a battalion of the Ground Forces of Ukraine under the command of 56th Motorized Brigade. The unit was created in 2014 as 21st Battalion of Territorial Defense Sarmat, and in May 2015 reformed as the 21st Motorized Battalion and assigned under the command of 56th Motorized Brigade.
In 2025, the battalion became the 1st Motorized Battalion of the 56th Motorized Brigade.
