23rd Tank Battalion

23rd Separate Tank Battalion was a tank unit of Ukrainian Air Assault Forces created in 2018. The unit was formed on order of Ukrainian President Poroshenko in order to strengthen the defense of the border with Belarus. According to a few sources, it was planned to expand the battalion to a brigade in the future.On September 13, 2019, under the newly elected Ukrainian President Zelensky, 23rd Tank Battalion was silently disbanded.
