Іt is very surprising that there is a 47th artillery brigade, since there is already a 47th mechanized brigade “Magura”

Even if Ukrainians try to avoid that, it’s not unusual to have the same brigade number with two different specialty, e.g. 1st Infantry division and 1st armored division.

Andreas

UA has many brigades with the same numbers – 1st SOF br, 1st tank br; 3rd assault br “Azov”, 3rd tank br.; 40th aviation br., 40th aritllery br.; 47th mechanized br., 47th aritllery br, 47th pontoon br.; 45th aritllery br., 45th air assault br.; 110th, 115th mechanized and territorial defense br.

3 marine brigades*: 34th, 37th, 38th
Part of “offensive guard” is renaming old brigades – 1RR NGU to “Bureviy”, 3RR NGU to “Spartan”, 4RR NGU to “Rubizh” (“Frontier”)

Andreas

And maybe there will be 45 AAB
