Artillery Brigade joins 8th Air Assault Corps

The 148th Artillery Brigade of the Air Assault Forces has officially joined the newly established 8th Air Assault Corps. The announcement was made through the corps’ official social media channels, putting an end to speculation about where the only artillery brigade of its kind within the Air Assault Forces would be assigned. The formation of the 8th Air Assault Corps was first reported by MilitaryLand on April 22, 2025.

The addition of the brigade further strengthens what is already a notably heavy corps formation. As a result, the 7th Air Assault Corps is left without a dedicated artillery brigade, making it significantly lighter in comparison to the 8th Corps.
