71st Brigade reassigned to Air Assault troops

The hunters are no longer part of the Ground Troops of Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ukrainian 71st Jager Brigade, formed shortly after the Russian re-invasion in February 2022 as part of Ukrainian Ground Forces, has found a new home. The brigade was reassigned under the command of Ukrainian Air Assault Forces in October 2022, and renamed to 71st Jager Brigade of Air Assault Troops.

It’s the first non-air unit under the command of Air Assault Troops.

The lists of Ukrainian Air Assault Forces and Ground Forces were updated to reflect the change.
