3rd Army Corps formed on the basis of 3rd Assault

On February 4, 2025, we reported on the long-awaited reformation of the Ukrainian Military and the establishment of additional corps finally being underway. We also reported on February 23, 2025 that the General Staff had appointed new Army Corps Commanders.

Today, Andriy Biletskyi, commander of the 3rd Assault Brigade, announced the formation of the 3rd Army Corps based on the brigade. As previously speculated, Biletskyi will lead the newly established corps.

For three years, we have gained unique experience in fierce battles, conducted successful counteroffensives, and became the most effective in deploying drones on the front line.
We implemented technologies, changed the approach to personnel training, and created the best recruiting system in the country. We launched our own FPV and ATGM schools. We initiated large-scale cultural and educational projects. Now it’s time to expand our horizons.

No further details have been disclosed at this time, leaving the composition of the corps unknown. It also remains unclear whether the 3rd Assault Brigade will continue to exist as a separate military unit or if its subordination will be expanded to a regiment or even multiple brigades.
