21st Corps Transferred to Ground Forces
It was recently revealed that the 21st Army Corps, which was formed within the Territorial Defense Forces in early 2025, has been transferred to the Ground Forces and is now under the command of Operational Command North. This move was announced through the unit’s official social media pages.
No official reason for the change has been announced. The 21st Army Corps was the only corps within the Territorial Defense Forces, and this decision now leaves Territorial units without a dedicated army corps formation.
