157th Infantry Brigade is mechanized

The Ukrainian Army command has decided to transform the 157th Infantry Brigade into a mechanized unit. This change was disclosed by Ukrainian volunteers closely associated with the brigade, after receiving a gift certificate from the unit. The document confirms that the 157th Brigade is now mechanized, while retaining its original insignia.

This marks the third instance in the 150-series where an infantry brigade has been restructured into a mechanized unit. In September, we reported on the reformation of the 155th Brigade, followed by the 159th Brigade.
