2nd Squadron of International Legion

2nd Squadron of International Legion is a linear unit of the International Legion of HUR MO.

It was formed in 2022, following the creation of linear units such as the 1st Squadron of International Legion. Several of its teams, such as Rogue Team, fought in the bloody Bakhmut campaign in 2023, where it performed assault, reconnaissance, and defensive operations against Russian forces, such as Wagner mercenaries, on the flanks of the city and the “Road of Life”.

In June 2025, it was discovered that a new consolidated formation had appeared in the squadron, being Tactical Group Ethos, which consolidated several units of the squadron under a centralised command, including Rogue Team, Delta Knights Group, Med Group Snake, Punch Team, and Team Sword.

Shortly after the creation of Ethos, Thorne Group, a formation previously under the 2nd International Legion, was reactivated and joined the formation.

In November 2025, a new Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Team, known as Tosen, joined the ranks of Ethos.

Insignia

The insignia depicts a roundel with a subdued yellow border and a subdued military green canvas. Its central features include the national symbol of Ukraine, the Tryzub, and an owl commonly associated with the Main Intelligence Directorate above it, grasping a sword in its claws. Nestled around the insignia is the inscriptions of the unit, and two symmetrical star icons.
