Shtorm Battalion is a volunteer police battalion formed on April 14, 2014, in Odesa Oblast. The unit was formed exclusively by volunteers from almost all regions of Ukraine.
During the battles near Heorhiivka in August 2014, the unit successfully repelled an attack of Russian Pskov Airborne Division, and captured one BMD-2.
In 2015, Bolgrad Company was assigned under the command of Shtorm Battalion.
In February 2024, the General Directorate of the National Police announced that Shtorm battalion joined Lyut Assault Brigade.
