433rd Unmanned Systems Battalion Expands

The 433rd Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 21st Army Corps, under the Ukrainian Ground Forces, has been expanded into the size of a regiment, with the summer reforms continuing to be implemented, including the development of the Army Corps. This news was announced on the Army Corps’ official social channels.
The reorganization comes as part of additional organizational measures implemented within Operational Command North of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, the overarching body which has jurisdiction over several formations, including 21st Army Corps.
The decision was made in accordance with a Directive on Additional Organizational Measures within the troops of Operational Command “North.”, says the statement.
According to the Army Corps, the battalion, despite having been formed only a year ago, has earned a strong reputation while carrying out combat missions in the Siversk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Kursk sectors, in which the Corps has played an extensive role.
The expansion of the battalion meets Ukraine’s ongoing defensive needs by scaling up the use of unmanned systems across many units. As part of the transition, the unit has launched a large-scale recruitment campaign for unmanned systems operators. Vacancies are available for those who can operate aerial drones and ground robotics.
