Ivano-Frankivsk battalion (батальйон Івано-Франківськ) was established on the order of Ministry of Internal Affairs to protect recently liberated areas in Donbas. The unit was formed from volunteers and former members of Berkut. They don’t hide this fact and wear Berkur insignia instead of Ivano-Frankivsk’s. The unit was deployed to Donbas as well as to some anti-government protests in Kyiv.
