Special Purpose Battalion Chernihiv, also referred to as the Chernihiv Rifle Battalion, is a consolidated unit of the National Police. Established in 2024 in Chernihiv Oblast, the battalion was formed by merging the former volunteer unit, Special Purpose Company Chernihiv, with the Special Police Company, which was primarily composed of former Berkut officers.
