33rd Regiment of Key Facilities Protection, a unit within the Ukrainian National Guard, is tasked with protecting the Rivne Nuclear Power Plant. Initially established as the 5th Battalion of Key Facilities Protection in 1991, it was expanded and reorganized into a regiment in 2024. In 2014, parts of the unit were deployed to Donbas, and in 2023, an element was sent to the front lines.
