2nd Battalion of State Facilities Protection was a military guard unit of Ukrainian National Guard tasked with the protection of Ukrainian Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.

Since the first days of Russian full-scale invasion, the battalion, reinforced by local Territorial Defense Unit, defended Enerhodar and the nuclear power plant. Due to a swift Russian advance north, the unit received zero support during the defense and was basically abandoned.

On March 4, Russian forces captured the power plant after fierce fighting. The battalion sustained heavy casualties and ceased to exist.
