Special Group Yunger

Special Group Yunger is a unit under the command of Timur Special Unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate. This combat unit was created in 2022 from motivated fighters with extensive military experience. “Yunger” fighters have taken part in battles in Kyiv and Chernihiv regions, stood out on the Zaporizhzhia front, in special operations in Crimea, near Horlivka, Toretsk, Bakhmut, and Nova Kakhovka, and also liberated the Aggregates Plant in Vovchansk, Kharkiv region.

Insignia

The unit’s insignia symbolizes a constant readiness to enter combat with any enemy, depicting the fight of light against darkness. The name “Yunger” reflects “eternal youth” and symbolizes a fusion of youth and experience possessed by the group.
