Army Aviation is tasked with providing aviation support in various conditions of general military combat. They are the most mobile and effective component of the Ground Forces of Ukraine, carrying out the most critical missions. Units of the Ukrainian army aviation are equipped with helicopters, including the Mi-24, Mi-8, and Mi-2.
