91st Separate Anti-Tank Battalion is a unit of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
It was created on April 15, 2022, originally as an anti-tank division. From the first days of its existence, the unit took part in combat missions in eastern Ukraine.
In June 2022, the unit was deployed to the Donetsk direction. Soldiers of the 91st served under the 108th Territorial Defense Brigade, later the 1st Tank Brigade, and then the 128th Territorial Defense Brigade. In 2023, the battalion fought in the Zaporizhzhia direction as part of the 110th and 127th Territorial Defense Brigades. Key battles included those near Hulyaipole, Robotyne, and Mala Tokmachka.
In March 2024, the unit was withdrawn for reorganization. On May 1, 2024, the division received a new organizational structure and was reformed into the 91st Separate Anti-Tank Battalion, subordinated to Operational Command “North.” From the summer onward, the battalion carried out missions in the Kursk direction.
In early 2025, the unit was redeployed to the Pokrovsk direction. Here, the battalion, as part of the Tactical Group “Donetsk” fought alongside the 153rd, 157th and 72nd Mechanized Brigades, the 79th Air Assault Brigade, the 109th Territorial Defense Brigades, the 36th and 38th Marine Brigades, the 46th Airmobile Brigade, “Birds of Madyar” and the Azov Brigade.

Nazariy Kishak joined the “Ivano-Frankivsk” Special Purpose Battalion in 2014, serving as a volunteer until 2019 and fighting near Mariupol, Avdiivka, and Marinka. At the start of the full-scale invasion, he formed and led a volunteer unit that became a machine-gun platoon in the 72nd Mechanized Brigade. In 2024, he became commander of the reconnaissance company in the 153rd Mechanized Brigade and later led a combined detachment on the Kharkiv front. By year’s end, his unit was reassigned to the…
