About Unit

66th Rifle Battalion was a battalion of the Ground Forces of Ukraine, formed in 2022. The battalion fought in Toretsk, Kurdyumivka and Bakhmut. In 2023, soldiers of the unit joined the newly formed 118th Mechanized Brigade and the 66th Rifle Battalion ceased to exist.
