412th Rifle Battalion was a unit of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
It was formed and assigned to the 143rd Mechanized Brigade in 2023. It was eventually reformed as an Infantry Battalion and then later reassigned to the 22nd Mechanized Brigade in mid to late 2023 or early 2024.
Insignia
The insignia contains a stylized chevron with the short name of the unit, containing a sabre and Cossack head – a homage to Ukrainian heraldry and history, and maintaining traditions with infantry-based themes.
