34th Separate Rifle Battalion was a military unit of the Ground Forces. The battalion was formed in April 2022 after the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Initially, the battalion was tasked with the defense of Chernihiv Oblast, and later transfered to reinforce units holding Bakhmut, where the unit remained until March 2023.
In May 2023, the battalion was disbanded due to high casualties and remaining soldiers were transfered to the 7th Rifle Battalion.
