Tactical Group Velyka Novosilka was a temporary management body of the Ground Forces of Ukraine, responsible for the defense of Pokrovsk and nearby area in Donetsk Oblast. The group was part of Operational Tactical Group Donetsk. In July 2025, the group was disbanded as part of the transition to a corps-brigade organizational structure.

The battalion was formed in 2023, as a separate battalion of the 144th Infantry Brigade. At the end of 2024, the battalion was reformed into a linear battalion of the 144th Mechanized Brigade.
