Ukraine forms 10th Army Corps

10th Army Corps was created in Poltava, and it groups several Ukrainian mechanized, artillery and other related brigades of Ground Forces of Ukraine. The unit received a military number A4767, and its own insignia.

The corps was originally reveled a few months ago as part of the leaked documents, but only now we received the official confirmation.

For better understanding: How much means this more armed men in the field or only a regrouping of already existing units?

It’s a force concentration for the offensive. The 21st and 33rd Mech, 37th Marine, 47th Assault, 82nd AirAssault + 4 more Brigades are supposed to be part of the new corps. All more or less new units themselfs.

it’s more ‘managerial’ (kind of) stuff. Corps/Armies are structural and sometimes ad hoc units and unlike brigades/divisions they are not ‘organic’ but functional.
Generally – this is for streamlinging command, logistsics, field reponsibility etc.
