Casualties

September 24, 2019

  • Storozhuk Andriy (28th Mechanized Brigade) a senior soldier. He was killed by enemy sniper near Marinka, Donetsk Region.

September 27, 2019

  • Markiv Oleksandr (4th Rapid Reaction Brigade) a senior soldier, participant of Euromaidan and on the front since 2014. He was seriously wounded during an enemy attack on Ukrainian outpost at Svidlodarsk Bulge. He died a few hours later at the hospital.
  • Vitovsʹka Anastasiya (Aidar Battalion, 53rd Mechanized Brigade) a soldier. She died in a bunker near Horlivka due to grenade explosion. An investigation is ongoing.

September 28, 2019

  • Adzhavenko Volodymyr (56th Mechanized Brigade) a soldier. He was seriously wounded by an enemy sniper on September 11 near Pisky and transported to a hospital in Dnipro, where he died two weeks later.

Military

Ukrainian Army received first batch of mobile mortars 

Ukroboronprom delivered 120mm self-propelled mortar system BARS-8MMK to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The BARS-8MMK is a mobile self-propelled mortar vehicle and the mortar can be deployed automatically at the rear of the vehicle.
