Bakhmut City
the city of Bakhmut
- Ukrainian defenders blew up a building in the northern part of Bakhmut, indicating that Wagner mercenaries managed to cross the railway and captured the first houses there. (source)
- A further video appeared, showing that the enemy indeed crossed the railway in the north and entered the residential area. (source)
- A drone of Ukrainian 93rd Mechanized Brigade recorded a movement of Wagner mercenaries in the area west of the main train station. As the group of soldiers was moving without any resistance, it is safe to assume that the enemy reached the base of Ukrainian 54th Mechanized Brigade. (source)
- Soldiers of Ukrainian 23rd Special Purpose Battalion of Separate Presidential Brigade targeted Wagner mercenaries near the Avanhard stadium. (source)
There has been a rotation of Ukrainian troops in Bakhmut. Elements of Ukrainian 3rd Assault Brigade and 60th Mechanized Brigade entered the city, and it seems that at least the National Guard’s Spartan Brigade was withdrawn.

jerome, where did you get the rotation information from
I base that on the fact we haven’t seen any mention of Spartan Brigade for some time, and we saw videos of new units in Bakhmut, which previously weren’t there. There is no reason to stack up the units when the area of control is shrinking.
