Hiw

The first two instances of the Zaporizhzhia map series display maps for the wrong dates.

Hiw

Nice. But on suspicion I checked the rest of the maps and the same problem affects the Donetsk and Siversky Donets series.

Sheld

Map is already outdated. Russia has control over Yahidne.

Danis

Source?

PearlHarbor

You can’t call it outdated when it happened recently. The only source I’ve found is weeb union https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqmtwmpiwLg Not sure what sources he’s using though

COLIN

Pro ruzzian site.

Pikująca Szozda

This is the only mention of Yahidne in the article:

If the neighbouring villages of Verkhivka Berkhivka and Yahidne were also captured, the Ukrainian troops in Bakhmut could no longer be supplied from the north, the bloggers maintained.

PearlHarbor

It’s a youtube channel, not a website. And the guy is from Denmark and Danes are hardly known to be pro-Russians. He just had a video talking about the failed Vuhledar offensive, so he sounds more neutral to me, unlike that guy from Belarus who runs the military summary channel

COLIN

A few westerners are pro ruzzian you know? Even Danish ones!

Sheld

Fair enough

gegele

What are russians doing near Kupyansk?

INEXORABLE

Diversion…. Divert by the North to disguise the next offensive…. New mobilized… Rush to Kharkiv to attract UKR army from Donbass … You will see…

COLIN

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Petty little armchair general.

INEXORABLE

To whom are you speaking ? I’m far from a armchair general like 80% of this blog, I was in the French army for 8 years, deployed in Mali and Afghanistan so stop being insulting … which tactical or combat experiences do you have ?

Pimba!

I bet COLIN graduated from URL Military Academy, with extensive combat experience from Call of Duty…

dolgan

Its were the main winter offensive is expected .

But for that, the russian plan was probably to break through in vulhedar to force Ukraine to move his reserve. Its probably why they sent absurd unprepared offensives after the fail of the first offensive on vulhedar.

COLIN

But the ukr troops in Vulherdar have also been taking a battering.
A TOS-1A thermobaric has been in action there. (and elsewhere).

dolgan

Yes and destroy. Russia try everything with no result in vulhedar.

Vulhedar IS a strong position. You cant take it without a plan. The first offensive was planned and close to be a success. The other are just a waste of troops.

And now, ukrain have repulse russian to the other side of the river.

RutilantBossi

Dying, mostly, but Russian doctrine on paper is about launching multiple attacks on the front so that the enemy doesn’t know which one to reinforce so maybe they’re doing that.

dolgan

Soviet doctrine with soviet army.

Kay

However, this doctrine assumes a functioning army with reliable soldiers and good commanders. None of these things Russia has…

Russia acts according to the motto mass, instead of class. Quantity before quality

Pikująca Szozda

Stealing washing machines?

Max Beckhaus

For the chips inside!

COLIN

Advancing it seems?
