Air Assault Logistics Regiment Splits in Two

As part of the transition to a brigade–corps structure, the 170th Logistics Regiment of the Air Assault Forces has been divided into two separate units, each assigned to one of the new corps formations.

Within the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps, a new unit — the 231st Logistics Battalion — has been established and has already received its insignia, as shown below.

The original 170th Logistics Regiment has been reduced to battalion size and assigned to the 8th Air Assault Corps, according to their social media profiles. The regiment had previously been expanded from a battalion in June 2024, as reported by MilitaryLand, and has now returned to its former structure.
