25th Regiment expands to a brigade

The 25th Regiment of the Ukrainian National Guard, based in Kyiv, has been expanded and reorganized into a brigade. This development was announced through the unit’s official social media channels. In line with standard National Guard practice, the restructured unit has been assigned a new numerical designation: it is now the 19th Brigade. However, its military unit number remains unchanged at 3114.
About the unit
Military Unit 3114 is a formation of the Ukrainian National Guard, created in response to Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022. The unit was first publicly identified by MilitaryLand on October 12, 2023, in an article titled “Ongoing Expansion of the National Guard.”
New Insignia
The new insignia maintains the familiar roundel design, consistent with most units of the Ukrainian National Guard. However, it stands out with a distinctive black-and-white color scheme. At its center is a stylized Ukrainian cross, reminiscent of the National Guard’s emblem. Within the cross lies a stylized Tryzub, encircled by a counterclockwise-wrapping arrow, adding a dynamic and symbolic element to the design.
