Challenger 2
Challenger 2 is the British Army’s most advanced main battle tank, designed for superior protection, firepower, and endurance. Entering service in 1998, it builds on the strengths of its predecessor, the Challenger 1, but with significant improvements in armor, targeting, and reliability. It is best known for its Chobham/Dorchester armor, making it one of the most well-protected tanks in the world. Used exclusively in Ukraine by the 82nd air assault brigade since 2023 in the Southern Counteroffensive then again in the Kursk offensive.
