MajorKnown by the callsign “Kuba,” he was born on August 27, 1983, in Simferopol, Crimea but lived most of his life in Kharkiv. At the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022, he joined the 127th Territorial Defense Brigade, where he fought in the Kharkiv counteroffensive and the defense of Bakhmut. By September 2022, he was appointed commander of a reconnaissance platoon, and in August 2023 he took command of the brigade’s reconnaissance company. Following the creation of the Khartia Brigade, he transferred to the newly formed unit. On February 1, 2024, he became deputy commander of the 2nd Battalion, and on March 15, 2024, he assumed command of the same battalion. In July 2025, he was appointed commander of the Khartia Brigade.
