Myrotvorets Battalion is a unit of Special Tasks Patrol Police, originally formed as a battalion in May 2014.

On August 7, 2015, the unit was reformed into a regiment. Police units Kyivshina, Harpoon and part of Tornado battalions joined the regiment.

The regiment was partially demobilized and reformed back to battalion sometime between 2019-2022.

On the eve of Russian Invasion on February 24, 2022, part of the battalion was stationed near the border north of Kyiv.

In 2023, the battalion was reorganized as a separate unit under the command of the newly formed Lyut Brigade.

Unit’s Headquarters

The unit includes the headquarters, management and commandant platoon.

2nd Kyivschyna Company

Formed in April 2014 as Kyivschyna Battalion. In 2015, reformed as a company under the command of Myrotvorets Regiment.

3rd Company Harpoon

Created on September 15, 2014, as a reconnaissance police battalion Harpoon. In 2015, reformed as a company under the command of Myrotvorets Regiment.

4th Company

The company of the regiment was formed on the basis of Tornado in July 2015.
