Foreign Service Group-Alpha was a unit of the International Legion of HUR MO.
The unit was formed sometime after March 2022 and was established with a command structure that would subordinate several teams – it would set a precedent for later foreign volunteer formations within the legion.
It was composed of experienced international fighters from many nations, including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Canada, Poland, Georgia, Ukraine, and many more. The unit conducted frontline operations throughout 2022, notably during the Battle of Severodonetsk, where it encountered heavy fighting against Russian forces in the industrial sector of the city.
It remained active until early 2023 when it sustained losses amidst brutal fighting during the Battle of Bakhmut and was subsequently disbanded.
The unit was presumably subordinated to the 1st Squadron of International Legion HUR MO.
