1827th Main Artillery Weapons Base is a unit of the Ukrainian Logistics Forces.
According to Ukrmilitary, the Ministry of Defense’s official news agency, reported that the unit was planned to be disbanded at some point in 2020; however, after the publication in local media outlining the disbandment and mass layoffs of civilian employees for the base, the unit command assured that the disbandment deadline would be postponed for a year. Additionally, the specialists of the base reportedly helped to develop the VM2 MP-UOS rifle, which is a modernization of the Mosin M1891/30 bolt-action rifle.
