Угруповання військ Курськ

Угруповання військ Курськ is a temporary grouping command structure of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.

It was formed at some point in 2025, with the formation becoming publicly known in September 2025 due to the launching of its social channels. The command of the Kursk Grouping is made up from the 8-й десантно-штурмовий корпус of the Ukrainian Air Assault Troops.

Under its command, a variety of units across different branches of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are present, including the 71st Airmobile, 78th Air Assault, 80th Air Assault, 95th Air Assault, 103rd Territorial Defense, 117th Heavy Mechanized Brigades, а також 425th Unmanned Systems Regiment.

It is commanded by Дмитро Волошин, the former commander of the 82-а десантно-штурмова бригада, and now the commander of the 8th Air Assault Corps.

The insignia illustrates a chevron in theme with the Ukrainian Air Assault Troops, with a silver grey border and maroon canvas. Its fundamental imagery represents a crossed golden sceptre and sword in the style with other Air Assault Units, a wheat leaf to the left, and a stylized cross to the right, with an elaborately designed cross at the peak of the insignia.
