Українська еліта формує новий корпус
Підрозділи Десантно-штурмових військ об'єднуються в єдиний армійський корпус, сподіваємося, на краще.
7-й десантно-штурмовий корпус, також відомий як 7-й армійський корпус - новий армійський корпус української армії. Як випливає з назви, він об'єднує частини Десантно-штурмових військ під єдиним польовим командуванням. Під командуванням 7-го десантно-штурмового корпусу сформовано новий батальйон управління для забезпечення всіх потреб - 87-й батальйон управління (військовий номер А4885).
Рішення про формування нового корпусу на базі десантно-штурмових частин стало несподіванкою, адже всі підрозділи Десантно-штурмових військ вже були згруповані під командуванням підрозділу Командування Десантно-штурмових військ. Петро Порошенко, колишній президент України, нещодавно відвідав 7-й десантно-штурмовий корпус і передав нове обладнання. Одна з фотографій свідчить про те, що більшість десантно-штурмових підрозділів, включно з командуванням, входять до складу новоствореного корпусу.
Якщо структура дійсно така, як на зображенні вище, то до складу новоствореного 7-го десантно-штурмового корпусу входять Командування Десантно-штурмових військ, 25-а повітряно-десантна бригада, 46-а аеромобільна бригада, 71-а єгерська бригада, 77-а аеромобільна бригада, 78-й штурмовий полк, 79-а десантно-штурмова бригада, 80-а десантно-штурмова бригада, 81-а аеромобільна бригада, 82-а десантно-штурмова бригада, 95-та десантно-штурмова бригада і 148-а артилерійська бригада.
7-й десантно-штурмовий корпус, на відміну від 9-го і 10-го армійських корпусів, не має власної танкової бригади і змушений покладатися на танкові роти кожної бригади. Єдиною бойовою одиницею десантно-штурмових військ є 132-й розвідувальний батальйон.
Велике питання, яке наразі залишається без відповіді, полягає в тому, як це змінює призначення десантно-штурмових підрозділів. Формування 7-го десантно-штурмового корпусу, сподіваємось, свідчить про зміни, а не про продовження невдалої ролі десантно-штурмових військ, які з лютого 2022 року використовуються як звичайні механізовані підрозділи.

There should an extra command staff, because a new management battalion was formed as well.

No, Ukraine did not lose. They won several important battles, and every month they are inflincting considerable dammage to the Russians. Including irreplaceable stuff like the A50U that was shot down a few weeks ago. Russians achieved nothing so far, they are corrupted, war criminals.

I wonder why European countries won’t commit totally to Ukraine’s defence when they can stop Russian aggression in Ukraine without using their own forces. If Ukraine falls, Russia won’t stop their expansion, since China, North Korea & Iran are providing material support. Then, they’ll have to fight on their own lands & weaker countries will capitulate without a fight. EU must do more…
The reasons are multiple:
1) many European people and politicians are still blind about Russia’s intention, or are favorable to Russia for political reasons
2) even when they want to help Ukraine, politicians usually don’t have military experience and fail to understand the scale of the war, they think they are doing enough when they should do 10 times more.
I am interested in this discussion platform as I would like to hear other members thoughts.
For me this platform will be a tool of information I would like to understand as I truly believe Ukraine is on the road of permanent independence.

Were I advising Ukraine, I would tell them to focus on the extended and vulnerable Russian supply lines. It is down a narrow, coastal road from eastern Russia. Cut the supply line, force them to depend on air or sea supply lines, making them more vulnerable to air or missile attack
