Error day 404 : no russian victories found
Error this page does not exist !
Finland joined NATO. Another geopolitical “success” of vatniks and their 3 day military operation 😉
It is a major strategic defeat for Russia allready.
Let us hope Ukraine will win strategically.
I hope Ukraine liberates Crimea, Kherson, the Zaporizhzhia region and Mariupol
Losses as reported by Oryx: March update
Ukraine really needs to take better care of its infantry mobility vehicles
Its war, you lose what you got…
March update with description
I dont remember when the battle of bakmut start. But i remember that some people say it will fall fast and that ukrainian have to flee immediatly behind dnipro.
I remember some months ago (year), some Putin groupies said, that soon Ukraine will be “freed” by russian troops and all ukrainians will be dead, how is the situation now ?
Even if city is taken, the amount of losses in russian attacks will have consequences on the continuation of the war.
Are you sure ? I don’t remember such a thing. I do remember people saying that staying in Bakhmut was a mistake because it will be encircled. Russians failed the encirclement, Ukrainians GLOC are now more secured than they were a month ago, and Russians are forced to attack the city directly, which is the worst way to capture a city. So Sirsky’s decision was right, we must admit that.
Russian losses as reported by MoD Ukraine: March update.
Ukraine’s MoD is propaganda, you seriously believe Russia suffered 700k casualties and still is on the offensive?
Who’s talking about 700k casualties ? I’ve never seen this number (Highest estimates are around 450k).
Concerning the numbers given by the MoD, we’ve discussed them before: they are probably a bit over-estimated, but not by much. And they give the general trend.
Half a million!!! If I was Putin and had this number of casualties definitely I would have used tactical nuclear weapons or chemicals or whatever even if the whole world was against me. Half a million in a year with this amount of gains is a reason for overthrowing the regime. It hasn’t happened in other conflicts. ISIS was savage and still none has claimed this amount of casualties.
That was the number of Covid-19 death in Russia (it was 670k excess death in 2021), and no one bothered.
I don’t think that Putin would be overthrown, even with 1 million Russian casualties for no territorial gain.
The difference between Covid and a war are that a war is in fact more controllable then a worldwide pandemic.
Yes Putin won’t be overthrown, that idea was fiction from the start, but just the comparison between war and Covid seems just so silly to me.
From the news I am getting an impression that John Wick has more ammo in his gun than the entire Ukrainian army. They are outgunned, yet somehow – professionalism or magic – are inflicting more casualties on the Russians. Begs the question why are you people so concerned about Russian casualties in the first place especially allowing that there is an element of
propagandauncertaintyOryx reports about 50% less equipment than MoD of Ukraine, and Oryx is underestimating real losses. So the “truth” probably lies anywhere between those two.
Which russian offensive?
250k casualties is more realistic.
Ukr report Say 175k. With ratio of 1,8 , its make around 315k kia, wia and pow .
1,8 was estimated by a group of reseacher.
Given that there are no attacks anymore in the Luhansk region, around Vuhledar and there is less shelling of the Herson region, I really think the Russians are redeploying their troops to Melitopol and Berdyansk, which is bad news
On the other hand, the Russians don’t know for sure where the Ukrainians will attack. Could be Zaporozhie, Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Kupiansk/Kreminna, etc.
Is this ? When you see the Russian government talking there is only one way to end this for good. Break the russian army so they won’t come back before any EU and/or NATO agreement take place with Ukraine. So better break it by “incapacitating them” rather than them fleeing away in disarray and coming back later.
As sad as it may sound.
“Russian army shelled Ukrainian positions near Novodanylivka, clarifying more the area of control in the vicinity of Orikhiv. (source)”
That’s the same as from day 402
Yeah, it’s unusual to have something happening on Zapor front that I forgot to remove it. Thanks for the heads up.
“Ukrainian 54th Mechanized Brigade overrun Russian positions near Verkhnokamyanske and recaptured its old positions.” Happened before Mar 31st as the source video is from before then and of which Military Land had posted parts of on Mar 31st. Military land also posted more of the video today.
Some of the videos on YouTube and Telegram of the 54th, especially of K2 Company, are not for the faint-hearted. They show actual, uncensored combat at the front. The videos often zoom in on dying Russians or show them being arrested and taken away.
And then this epic music… No film is that real.
There are quite a few who see these videos as glorifying violence and disrespecting the victims. But I think to really understand what is really happening in Ukraine, you need videos like this.
Because that is unfortunately the reality…
I agree that people need to see how awfull war is, but step 1 of propaganda is dehumanize the enemy. I support the ukrainians ofcourse and hope they win, but cheering for the death of the enemy is sickening. I surprises me how many ‘normal’ people on the internet do this.
Indeed – these same ‘normal’ people who cheer at terrorist acts against ‘the enemy’ will often swear they oppose the death penalty under any circumstances. Total hypocrisy.
What the Russians, especially their bloggers, do on the web is no different, only on a verbal level. I don’t see any difference if someone calls for violence, murder, incitement of the people, child abduction and rape of women or shows pictures of dying Russians.
Both is shit
There have been some pretty nasty instances of incitement to hatred and murder from the Ukrainian side too. I personally condemn them all without distinction.
But during a war, how to you make the difference when you’re on the ground ? You don’t know if the “bastard” dying before you has nothing to do with it or not. And if he had the chance i would have killed you too.
What do Ukrainian have in mind when seeing the enemy, the enemy invading the land, killing civilian, stealing children, raping woman, mass murder.
Maybe the soldier they look had nothing to do with it. But the act his army does can deshumanized even the holy one.
They probably saw awful thing that shock, mark them for good. So when you got someone from that army, you probably won’t have compassion for him.
As disturbing as it can be to see someone laugh at a enemy soldier suffering, there’s probably also a root cause to this.
I was mostly referring to incitement on social media platforms
I’d rather see the poor mobiks go home, or surrender, rather than die on the battlefield. But that is not what they do. Russians invaded a country, they committed many war crimes, they raped and abducted children. So, if they don’t want to stop, they have to be stopped. One way or another.
Perfect example, you missed my point completely. The enemy must lose, therefore some of them must die. Their death isn’t the issue, it’s the fact that your (and many others) attidute towards it is ” they deserve it and choose it” versus “it’s a necessary but still horrible”.
I understand why you hate them and have no empathy. Still, it’s that mentality what fuels war..
I have have empathy for decent human beings, not for fascists and war criminals.
What fuels wars is nationalism, imperialism, etc. Putin began that war. He can end it at any moment. So stop shifting the blame onto someone else.
not shifting the blame, you are completely right. I just think it’s important to see that you are oke with people burining alive and being ripped apart by shrapnel. You can still hate people and not find gratification in their deaths.
I hate no one. As I said, I prefer that mobiks return home safely rather than dying in Ukraine. But if killing them is the only way to stop the invasion, so be it.
yeah, its crazy that the russians themselves dont seem to mind the killings
keep going Jerome
