About 150 US troops from the Florida National Guard are leaving the country.

The group of US soldiers, who have been in Ukraine to help train Ukrainian forces, are leaving the country amid the threat of invasion, the Pentagon said on Saturday.

The troops from the Florida National Guard are currently stationed in Yavoriv, near the Ukrainian-Polish border. They should leave the country during the next 48 hours. Whatever they leave via air or ground is currently unknown.

A small number of US special forces remains in the country.
