United States continue to support Ukrainian Forces with new equipment.
Ukrainian Navy will receive in the upcoming year twelve Mark VI combat patrol boats. The deal, signed in 2020, awarded to Ukraine six boats of this type for free as part of the US logistical assistance. In March 2021, the deal conditions changed and Ukraine should receive eight, instead of six, Mark VI boats for free.
United States based company SAFE Boat received the contract for the production of Mark VI boats. Estimated price for a one boat is $20 million.
Mark IV is designed as a patrol boat and should reinforce Ukrainian Navy unit stationed in Azov Sea.
