Ukraine about to buy Turkish drones

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko agreed with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip, that Ukraine will buy strike drones from Turkey. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko agreed with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip, that Ukraine will buy strike drones from Turkey.

Ukrainian state-owned Ukrspetsexport and the Turkish company Baykar Makina signed a deal to purchase Turkish-made Bayraktar TB2 strike drones. According to Petro Poroshenko, the deal is part of measures to expand military cooperation between the two countries.

The Bayraktar unmanned aerial vehicle is a Medium Altitude Long Endurance class system developed for tactical reconnaissance and surveillance missions.
