The 425th Assault Battalion, renowned for its successful frontal assaults on Russian positions, has been expanded into a regiment. The announcement was made by members of the unit via their official TikTok account.

The 425th Regiment continues the trend of expanding assault battalions into regiments. Recently, the 33rd Assault Battalion was also elevated to regiment status.
