Rarog and Phoenix units expand to drone regiments

Two more drone units have been reorganized into separate regiments.

The Rarog drone unit of the 24th Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces and the Phoenix drone unit of the Pomsta Brigade of the Border Guards have been expanded into regiments, as announced on their official social media accounts here.

Rarog has been expanded and reorganized into the 427th Regiment of Unmanned Systems of the Ground Forces, officially separating from the 24th Mechanized Brigade. The numerical designation of the Phoenix unit remains unknown.

Also today, Rarog and Phoenix, along with the recently expanded 20th Regiment K-2, the 429th Regiment Achilles, and the 414th Brigade Birds of Madyar, announced a joint initiative titled “Power of Drones.” The project aims to recruit both civilians and military personnel, led by respected commanders who built their drone units from the ground up—progressing from companies to battalions and now to independent regiments and a brigade. Recruits are promised fair treatment, a professional selection process, comprehensive training, and a secure environment.
