Casualties

November 21, 2018

  • Kuznetsov Vitaliy (10th Mountain Brigade) a major, chief of intelligence. He volunteered in August 2014, served in Kruk Battalion and later signed a contract with Armed Forces. He died during a combat patrol due to cardiac arrest.

November 24, 2018

  • Garkusha Sergey (28th Mechanized Brigade) a soldier. He was killed during a skirmish near Krasnohorivka.

Military

Rozsadky village liberated

Special Force unit, with the support of 72nd Mechanized Brigade, liberated Rozsadky. The village, located in the grey zone, was abandoned by Ukrainian Forces during its retreat from Debaltsevo in 2015. It was suspected Rozsadky were used for smuggling and by artillery spotters. It’s worth noting that all civilians left the settlement back in 2015.

Standoff at Kerch Strait

Ukrainian vessels were heading from Odesa to Mariupol through Kerch Strait. Russian Forces harassed and rammed one of the Ukrainian vessels near Kerch Strait. Due to the blocked passage, Ukrainian vessels were forced to fall back to Odesa. On its way back, they were attacked by Russian Navy, both sides exchanged fire. Ukrainian vessels were boarded and captured, several sailors wounded.
