September 1, 2018
- n/a (54th Intelligence Battalion) a soldier. He died during engineering work on one of the frontline fortifications near Svitlodarsk. Another soldier was wounded.

Russian T-62 on the move
Several users on Twitter were following a train of dozens of T-62s heading from eastern Russia to the borders of Ukraine. They were last seen in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, near Ukrainian border.

Zacharchenko assassinated
The leader of Donetsk People’s Republic (DNR), Alexander Zakharchenko, was assassinated in Donetsk. He was killed by a bomb in restaurant Separ.
Assasination attempt on #Zakharchenko was successful. His death was confirmed. Ironically, he was killed in the restaurant “Separ”(separatist).
