Operation Report is a summary of what happened in the Joint Forces Operation Zone (previously known as Anti-Terrorist Operation zone or ATO) during the last week. Casualties

March 10

  • Onopriyenko Volodymyr (Aidar Battalion, 53rd Mechanized Brigade) – soldier, commander of combat vehicle. He was killed by an artillery strike on Ukrainian positions near Starohnativka, Donetsk Region.

March 12

  • Pekur Oleksandr (unknown unit) – soldier. He was killed by an enemy sniper near Marinka, Donetsk Region.
  • Kolesnikov Kostyantyn (National Police – Slavyansk department) police captain. He died as a result of a car accident near Lyman, Donetsk Region. Non-combat casualty.

Numerous social media accounts reports clashes between the sides, mainly in the vicinity of Donetsk. 

Ukrainian side moves troops to Donbas

Videos circulating on social media show military echelons heading toward Donbas. It’s currently unknown if it’s just a regular rotation of Ukrainian troops or something else.
